Welcome to Philadelphia Jazz Project

Make Music Philly Day

MMPMake Music Day is a global celebration that takes place on the summer solstice each year and for the first time ever, the “city of brotherly love” will join with over 500 other cites world-wide to celebrate from 8AM -8PM.

Friday June 21, 2013 will be the first, city-wide, free “do it yourself” festival - including organized concerts and informal performances, by professionals and amateurs of all genres and ages.

Make Music Philly is a wonderful opportunity for Philadelphia musicians, venues and music lovers to shine and to be shined on. Think of it as a city wide, musical showcase presenting the whole gamut of musical expression available in the city of brotherly love, from Rock and Gospel, to Punk and Hiphop, to Classical and Jazz. Philadelphia Jazz Project joins the effort by presenting three events showcasing some of the finest Jazz artists in the region.

Remember everything is Free!!! So, come out and enjoy the music! Take part in the activities! Check out Philadelphia Jazz Project's Make Music Philly events below.
